At MoneyMob Talkabout, we are a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of community services and programs in the APY Lands in northern South Australia and Alice Springs. We have remote offices in Ernabella (Pukatja) and Mimili communities and provide outreach services to other Anangu communities. 

Due to growth in the organisation, we seek a friendly and motivated Project Support Officer (Financial Wellbeing) to join our inclusive and supportive team in Alice Springs, NT, on a part-time basis of 60 hours per f/n.

What you'll receive

In addition to joining a community focussed organisation and being a part of a collaborative working environment that values honesty and respect within the team, you will receive an attractive base remuneration between $68,621 - $73,580 pro-rata at 60 hours per f/n plus super. You'll also receive exciting benefits, including but not limited to:

What you'll be doing

With MoneyMob Talkabout, you'll be responsible for providing proactive and efficient administrative and logistic support to the Financial Well-being team of financial counsellors and financial capability workers to enhance the efficiency of the team. Your essential duties will also include, but not be limited to:

  • Make or cancel accommodation bookings in relations to the teams travel
  • Manage client intake and waiting list processes
  • Ensure the team has access to functioning IT equipment and software
  • Ensure electronic mail distributions lists are updated and regular stakeholder communications are developed and sent
  • Ensure vehicles are maintained and serviced according to schedule and provisioned with all required safety and communication equipment
  • Assist with the commencement, induction and support of casual Anangu financial well-being staff

What you'll need

You must have a Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent to be considered for this role. You will also hold or be willing to obtain a working with children and vulnerable persons check, as well as completing a National Police Check, and have or be ready to get a third Covid-19 vaccination.

You will also show the demonstrated ability to provide high-quality administrative and logistic support to a team and experience working with individuals and communities with complex needs and the desire to be part of a collaborative team that upholds all values of MoneyMob Talkabout.
